Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
Our fresh whole milk mozzarella is made from a recipe handed down from generations of Italian mozzarella makers. This recipe and technique were taught to us by one of the most famous artisan cheese makers in Vermont, and it’s unlike any other fresh mozzarella you’ve tasted. The richness and creamy texture in combination with the freshness and quality of our milk combine for an unforgettable cheese tasting experience.
Our fresh mozzarella is “At its Peak” between 3 and 12 days from when we make it, but will stay in excellent condition for 21 days. Slice it when cold and let it come to room temperature to get the finest flavor and rich milky texture. It’s wonderful as a mild table cheese, a great addition to hot or cold pasta, perfect in Caprese salads and adds new depths of flavor on pizzas and other oven baked dishes.
